Анотація
Суспільні, економічні, політичні реалії сьогодення вибудовують нові пріоритети розвитку України. В процесі поглиблення ринкових реформ дедалі більшої ваги набуває питання єднання та згуртування українських регіонів як основного чинника подальшого становлення державності та посилення економічної могутності країни в умовах глобалізації економіки.

METHODS OF ASSESSING THE POTENTIAL OF REGIONAL INTEGRATION AS THE BASIS OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IN A GLOBALIZED ECONOMY
Summary
The central prerequisite for the implementation of efficiency policy goals interregional integration is its positioning as policy coordination of interests, and its ideology is based on the principles of subsidiarity, partnership, co-financing and synergy. Of course, in the market for the state there was only one form of influence on the process of inter-regional integration, which should be based solely on a voluntary basis and benefits — is reconciling the interests of the federal center, regional government and business representatives. This requires changes in the forms and methods of regulation at both the national and regional levels — the rejection of power relations, based solely on the vertical and horizontal shift to network relationships .
The role of regional authorities is high on the stages of the inter-regional economies, particularly in evaluating foreign economic opportunities in the region; in selecting the most promising clusters; in mobilizing resources and encouraging participation of businesses in inter (national) projects. Further, as confirming international practice, the role of regional power decreases and is to support their operation.
Thus, the real intrastate inter-regional integration can be achieved only if the strengthening of the regulatory role of the state at the national level. That state institutions should form integration mechanisms that would ensure the intensification of integration processes on meso and micro levels. At the same time, a sign of modern interregional integration trends should be primarily economic interest in regional cooperation, since economic benefit is the basis of formation of economic relations.
