Анотація

Виходячи з досвіду країн Центральної та Східної Європи, інтеграція в НАТО позначиться підвищенням інвестиційної привабливості економіки України внаслідок підвищення гарантій безпеки та стабільності. Окремий економічний ефект матиме зміна іміджу країни в результаті набуття членства в НАТО. Більшість постсоціалістичних країн західні інвестори та туристи розглядають як нестабільні. Приєднання до НАТО істотно вплинуло б на зміну такого іміджу внаслідок визначення з цивілізаційною належністю країни та наданим Альянсом належним рівнем безпеки і вимогами щодо внутрішньої політики нових країн-членів.
Після завершення трансформаційних процесів, пов'язаних із євроатлантичною інтеграцією, Україна могла б очікувати різкого зростання іноземних інвестицій до своєї економіки. Вступ до НАТО справив позитивний вплив на інвестиційний клімат нових держав-членів, що прямо пов'язано із підвищенням рівня національної безпеки: в очах інвесторів ці держави перейшли з категорії "пострадянських" держав до категорії держав євроатлантичної спільноти, а виконання критеріїв вступу до НАТО зменшило рівень корупції й вплинуло на конкурентоспроможність економік цих країн.

ECONOMIC ASPECT OF EURO-ATLANTIC INTEGRATION OF CENTRAL AND EASTERN EUROPEAN COUNTRIES

Summary

Based on the experience of the Central and Eastern European countries, integration into NATO will be reflected in an increase of the Ukrainian economy's investment attractiveness due to enhanced security and stability guarantees. A separate economic effect will have the change of the country's image as a result of NATO membership. Most post-socialist countries Western investors and tourists consider as unstable. Entry into NATO would have a significant impact on the change of this image due to the determination of the country's civilization affiliation and the Alliance's provision of an adequate level of security and the requirements to the domestic policy of the new member states.
After completing the transformation processes related to Euro-Atlantic integration, Ukraine could expect a sharp increase of foreign investment in its economy. Entry into NATO has had a positive impact on the investment climate of the new member states, which is directly related to the increase of the national security level: in the eyes of investors, these states have moved from the category of "post-Soviet" states to the category of the Euro-Atlantic community states, and the fulfillment of the criteria for joining NATO has reduced the level of corruption and influenced the competitiveness of the economies of these countries.
