ПОЛІТИКА ЗДОРОВОГО ХАРЧУВАННЯ ДЛЯ ДІТЕЙ РАННЬОГО ШКІЛЬНОГО ВІКУ В УКРАЇНІ: ОГЛЯД ЛІТЕРАТУРИ

Анотація

У статті розглядається актуальний стан політик щодо здорового харчування для дітей раннього шкільного віку в Україні та світі. Акцент зазначеного огляду літератури зроблено переважно на практиках шкільних політик, викликів та референтному для України досвіді країн Східної Європи, а також на найбільш успішних доказових практиках решти країн світу. Огляд літератури засвідчує, що адекватна політика харчування для освітніх закладів має базуватися на чітких стандартах, а також розлогій міжсекторальній взаємодії, залученню дітей та батьків, а також спільному навчанню та неперервному моніторингу впровадження політики. На цьому етапі для України критичним є створення власної політики здорового харчування для дітей, яка побудована на доказовій інформації, відповідає міжнародним рекомендаціям та є можливою для імплементації в контексті соціально-економічного середовища освітніх закладів. Реформування та вдосконалення системи харчування дітей в початковій школі в свою чергу є превентивною інвестицією для сектору охорони здоров'я, що має численні позитивні наслідки у довгостроковій перспективі.

HEALTHY DIET POLICY FOR CHILDREN OF EARLY SCHOOL AGE IN UKRAINE: LITERATURE REVIEW

Summary

The issue of effective nutrition policy remains to be a big challenge for global healthcare system, as it is a mechanism that has both clinical and economic implications. The World Health Organization presents evidence-based guidelines that can be frame for nutrition policy at primary school. Admittedly, it sets out the main directions and ideas for formulating healthy nutrition policies in different socio-economic environments. The challenge of such documentation that it has quite declarative formulation to be implement in Ukraine at the moment. The further research is needed for more complex understanding of management about recommendations and standards for nutrition policy, in particular country, region and school. Current ukrainian nutrition policy documentation that regulates diet in primary school also needs to respond on increasing rates of chronic diseases and obesity. In this article the emphasis was done on reviewing literature on successful practises and challenges of the relevant experience of Eastern Europe countries, including the most successful evidence-based practices in the rest of the world. A review of the literature suggests that an adequate nutrition policy for primary school should be based on clear standards, as well as extensive cross-section interaction, the involvement of children and parents, and joint monitoring of policy implementation. At this stage, it is critical for Ukraine to formulate evidence-based nutrition policy for primary school students in context of modern the socio-economic environment. Additionally, rethinking and improving nutrition policy for children is an investment for the health sector and prevention of chronic disease. Successful nutrition policy practiсes from all over the world also have a potential to be implemented in Ukraine. Evidence shows that adequate nutrition policy needs constant improvements and research in order to respond to the modern challenges. It requires collaboration and support of various branches of government, ministries, stakeholders, as well as joint nutrition education of parents, teachers and the students.
