DETERMINANTS OF BALANCED ECOTOURISM IN EUROPEAN COUNTRIES

Summary

Emphasis is placed on the development of modern technologies in the field of international tourism through the use of the Internet and mobile applications. It is noted that the solution of environmental problems should include the greening of tourism.
It is established that for the Ukrainian realities it is valuable to study the world experience of conducting balanced tourist activity in the countries of the European Union.
It is established that the transnationalization of the international tourism business will contribute to the expansion of the range of activities, investing in various areas of tourism development, attracting additional resources through access to world stock markets. The need to combat "opertourism" was emphasized in order to prevent the deterioration of the impact on the local ecological environment. It was found that it is necessary to form a marketing system in international travel services, which is based on the components of the tourist destination. It is believed that crowdfunding in the field of tourism will help local communities in natural areas to pool resources to organize environmental tourism activities that will be of interest to the local population. It is established that clustering in the field of tourism will promote the integration of resource, economic and human resources.
These components are possible priorities for the balanced development of ecotourism in the European Union.
The study of the experience of tourism development in the EU countries allowed to substantiate such prospects of balanced ecotourism for Ukrainian realities as ensuring balanced ecotourism on the basis of world priorities for the development of the industry; ensuring the balanced development of ecotourism should be based on world developments; reconciliation of contradictions within countries in the field of care for the environment; conducting tourist activities should not destructively contribute to the national economy; minimizing the negative effects on the environment; achieving a balance between human needs and the possibilities of nature; focus on doing business in the tourism sector and preventing adverse consequences for the existence of human life; intra-industry specialization of production, development of folk crafts; further expansion of international cooperation in the field of ecotourism.

Keywords: ecotourism; European Union; tourism; tourism infrastructure; cluster approach; tourism business; tourism activities; balanced development.
